Job Title: Technical Lead – Azure
Location: Barcelona (Remote)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with a strong background in Azure Platform and Azure
Synapse to lead and guide technical teams in the development of scalable cloud-based solutions. The ideal
candidate will possess a combination of technical proficiency and leadership skills, enabling effective
communication with stakeholders and the ability to define and deliver product requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Take ownership of the technical leadership role and collaborate with stakeholders to define product
architecture and requirements.
• Lead the setup and optimization of Azure environments for application hosting, data pipelines, DevOps,
databases, and containerized platforms.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
tools.
• Oversee Azure resource management, ensuring cost efficiency and performance.
• Deploy and manage Azure Synapse components including SQL and Spark pools.
• Manage Azure Event Hubs for real-time data ingestion and streaming processes.
• Deliver end-to-end solutions using the Azure Synapse stack.
• Integrate Azure Synapse with Azure ML to enable advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
Required Skills and Experience
Azure Platform and Infrastructure:
• Experience with Azure infrastructure: storage accounts, virtual networks, security groups, and
configuration.
• Proficiency in deploying applications and data pipelines within Azure environments.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or Ansible.
• Understanding of containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Expertise in Azure cost and resource management.
Azure Synapse Infrastructure and Operations:
• In-depth knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics for big data, warehousing, and integration.
• Proven experience in tuning, error handling, and ensuring high availability of Synapse-based solutions.
• Ability to design and implement solutions that integrate Azure ML with Synapse.
