The Global Sr. Salesforce Developer is a candidate with intensive experience in Salesforce technologies and a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable solutions. This role involves leading development projects, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our Salesforce platform. The Certified Salesforce developer works closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify/improve deployment processes and is responsible for executing the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement tasks for our CRM platform.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
• Lead the development and deployment of new features and functionality within the Salesforce platform.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Integrate Salesforce with other systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Manage and optimize Salesforce data models, workflows, and validation rules.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features and updates.
• Serve as the advisor for Salesforce projects in review during COE meetings, providing training and guidance to other staff on development guidelines as well as best practices.
• Manage multiple Salesforce orgs for the Global Digital team. Manage sandboxes and ensure best practices are followed by development teams while using Salesforce environments.
• Prioritize deliverables and deploy well-tested solutions across Production and Non-production environments.
• Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends, and provide recommendations on how to upgrade the environments to the latest release.
• Design, develop and maintain complex user roles and security models.
• Contribute to the creation of Salesforce development standards and guidelines.
• Perform mass data imports/exports using the Bulk API or various import tools.
• Design and implement data partitioning and multitenancy strategies to enhance performance as well as provide robust data security.
• Actively participate in design and sprint planning sessions, offering relevant solutions and input.
• Support the Salesforce development lifecycle – aiding developers to build and promote code to Production.
• Troubleshoot and complete complex data and application errors.
• Provide clear and visible communication to all stakeholders.
• High comfortability with the integration of standard and custom data sources.

Certified Salesforce Developer
The Global Sr. Salesforce Developer should have:
• Bachelor´s Degree – a 4-year undergraduate degree in business, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce developer, with a proven track record of managing Salesforce orgs for customers.
• 1+ years of experience in Copado or equivalent DevOps tools for Salesforce deployments.
Salesforce developer certifications are a must (Platform Developer 1, Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Marketing Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant).
• Proficiency in Jira, MuleSoft, Tableau, Confluence software.
• Knowledge of integration with Heroku, AWS and other third-party SaaS platforms.
• Must have experience with Salesforce CRM including Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Data Cloud and related products.
• Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform and development tools including Apex, Visualforce, Flow and Lightning.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce object models and relationships.
• Strong knowledge of various Salesforce governor limits and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce integration best practices.
• Expert knowledge of Salesforce security best practices and management of roles, profiles, data sharing rules, shield, etc.
• Ability to automate deployment of Salesforce code/configuration changes to higher environments by using GIT and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to review and understand the downstream impacts of a change request and anticipate opportunities to improve it.
• Ability to proactively identify problems and prepare solutions for resolution.
