Job Title: Senior AWS Cloud Engineer
Location: Barcelona preferred (Remote flexibility available)
Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join a high-impact project focused on architecting and
deploying scalable, secure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with AWS
services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and DevSecOps practices. Advanced English proficiency is
required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement scalable and secure AWS infrastructure following cloud architecture best practices.
• Work with AWS Landing Zone, multi-account strategies, and network/security services to manage
enterprise-grade environments.
• Apply Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate provisioning and configuration.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitLab-CI.
• Write maintainable Python scripts for automation, deployment, and infrastructure tasks.
• Deploy and manage containerized and serverless architectures using Fargate, Lambda, and S3.
• Implement DevSecOps methodologies, including Shift-Left security, SAST, and SBOM generation.
• Manage security and compliance tools such as AWS Config, Inspector, and Network Firewall.
• Integrate and manage observability tools including CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Alert
Manager, and PagerDuty.
• Support SIEM solutions, with a preference for experience with Splunk.
Required Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering.
• Expertise in AWS infrastructure architecture, including IAM, KMS, Transit Gateway, and WAF.
• Strong understanding and practical use of Terraform for IaC.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• CI/CD pipeline experience with GitLab and GitLab-CI.
• Background in serverless and containerized application deployment.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with DevSecOps, secure coding practices, and supply chain security (SBOM).
• Exposure to SIEM platforms, preferably Splunk.
• Familiarity with modern monitoring and alerting tools integrated with AWS.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset for cloud optimization.
