Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Automation Engineer with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in
designing and implementing automation frameworks across cloud and on-prem environments. The ideal candidate
will bring deep technical knowledge in Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and automation best practices, along with the
leadership capability to guide a team of developers.
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about eliminating repetitive manual processes through intelligent
automation, driving operational efficiency, and setting strategic standards for DevOps and CI/CD practices in modern
cloud-native environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and implementation of automation solutions across cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
• Manage and mentor a team of developers in building scalable automation frameworks.
• Identify and standardize manual processes, converting them into automated workflows with minimal human
intervention.
• Implement automation solutions on AWS, Azure, and on-prem platforms using tools like Kubernetes and
Terraform.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional development and operations teams to integrate automation into
existing pipelines.
• Define governance and standards for automation practices across the SDLC.
• Conduct in-depth analysis and resolution of complex system automation issues.
• Stay up to date with emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices in cloud automation and DevOps.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 5–7 years of professional experience in automation engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related roles.
• Proven expertise in Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud platform; familiarity with Azure is a plus.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
• Proficient in automation scripting, coding, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in leading technical teams and delivering robust automation strategies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex distributed systems.
• Fluent in English (C1 level) with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education:
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
