Data Support Specialist – ETRM
Join Axpo as an Data Support Specialist ETRM and become part of a dynamic environment where technology meets energy trading. Your expertise in trading systems, data, and reporting will help drive innovation across our business intelligence landscape.
What you will do:
– Provide 1st and 2nd level support for applications and interfaces, including in-house developed systems.
– Collaborate closely with business units, support teams, and external providers to align technical solutions.
– Support business intelligence initiatives within market and credit risk domains.
– Maintain and improve documentation, ensuring adherence to ITSM processes and quality standards.
– Opportunity to participate in an on-call service, with additional compensation provided.
What you bring and who you are:
– Degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
– Operations specialist with 2- 4 years of experience, ideally in Microsoft BI stack technologies.
– Desirable familiarity with data warehousing solutions, preferably using Microsoft technologies (SQL), and understanding of ETL workflows.
– Experience with version control is a plus, ideally using GitHub, along with deployment tools such as Octopus and TeamCity .
– Working experience on Azure DWH or any cloud technologies will be advantage.
– Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Spanish or German is a plus.
