Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Oversight Support Analyst to join the Risk and Finance Data Controls
team. This role is pivotal to the enhancement and operational execution of a robust data controls framework
aimed at ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance in regulatory reporting processes. The successful
candidate will support the implementation, testing, and maintenance of data quality controls, while
contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the data lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead efforts to improve Data Quality monitoring capabilities.
• Take ownership of daily operations related to data control activities focused on:
o Data Accuracy
o Timeliness
o Quality
o Integrity
• Design and implement effective data quality controls.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of newly implemented controls.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and regularly update comprehensive control documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data controls with business risk appetite.
• Produce management and executive-level reporting on data control outcomes.
• Perform root cause analysis and assess business impacts of data quality issues.
• Translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in data management, analytics, or related fields.
• University degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
• Intermediate knowledge of structured data concepts, relational databases, metadata, and repository
tools.
• Proficient in SQL for data analysis and querying.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to detect data quality issues and determine their business
impact.

• Experience creating process documentation to support compliance requirements (e.g., Sarbanes-
Oxley/SoX).

• Effective verbal and written communication skills suitable for all stakeholder levels.
• Capable of generating clear, concise reporting on control performance using appropriate tools.
• Comfortable working with both technical and business teams to address data issues.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
• Understanding of internal data-related policies (e.g., Data Management, Data Governance).
• Ability to evaluate and apply the best tools and techniques to ensure data quality across systems and
processes.
