We are seeking an experienced Android Engineer to join a team dedicated to developing a cutting-edge mobile app that redefines how users interact with luxury vehicles and their connected lifestyle.
As part of the Messaging Team, you will be crucial in building a best-in-class messaging system. The aim is to deliver seamless, personalized, and timely communications to customers through a unified, multi-channel platform—enhancing the overall user experience and strengthening customer relationships.
Tasks
– Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Jetpack Compose and Kotlin.
– Implement dependency injection using Koin DI to create scalable and maintainable architectures.
– Manage local data persistence with Room Database.
– Integrate and utilize Firebase for backend services, analytics, and real-time database functionalities.
– Ensure seamless localization of applications using PhraseApp.
– Manage and resolve user-reported issues using Instabug for debugging and feedback.
– Collaborate with the team to monitor and analyze application performance through tools such as Splunk and New Relic.
– Work closely with content teams to manage and deliver app content using Contentful.
– Utilize AWS for cloud infrastructure and services..
Requirements
– Proven experience as an Android Engineer with the ability to work autonomously in a highly mature and independent team environment.
– Strong expertise with Jetpack Compose, Kotlin, and Koin DI.
– Hands-on experience with Room Database, Firebase, and localization tools such as PhraseApp.
– Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting using Instabug.
– Familiarity with performance monitoring tools like Splunk and New Relic.
– Experience working with AWS and content management systems like Contentful.
– Strong understanding of team collaboration tools, including Slack, Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.
